It's 10 days till we can begin shooting and the cameras are available for our use. It's a nervous wait and planning is equally as nerve wracking but so exciting! The filming days are 26th February to 5th of March giving us exactly a week to finish filming our opening sequence.
Tuesday's I finish college at 2:45pm and Farhath finishes at 5pm, which works out great as for this first day we'll be doing Charles's scenes of him in his home, driving and walking along the beach. Plus the time works out great as we need late evening/night time for our opening sequence.
Wednesday 27th February:
This day we'll have both Sam (Charles) and Vickie (young woman) shooting their confrontation scene. We've planned on filming for about 3-4 hours to get it just right. Also hoping both actors are available for this long. If not the weekends will be free to film anything we've missed.
Thursday 28th February:
Thursday is a really great day for both me and Farhath to shoot and analyse footage as we both have Media this day and we both thought it would be great to spend the time going over our filming and to see if we need to add more and what's missing. This will also be the day we use Vickie to shoot the 'dead girl' shots. These will mainly be reaction shots and her appearing before Charles. Hopefully this won't take to long to film, we're guessing 1-2 hours.
Friday 29th February:
Unfortunately Vickie is unavailable for this day but Sam is most likely going to be available, which is great. We should have enough footage by this time to not need Vickie as much but as mentioned before, if we need more we have the weekend to finalise anything. We'll also shoot some more kitchen scenes with Sam this day and walking/driving scenes.
Hopefully by this time we'll have all the footage we need and ready for editing. If not we won't waste the last few days but spend it filming more. I'm really looking forward to shooting this and working with the cast/crew we've chosen. I think it will be a great experience and me and Farhath will definitely learn a thing or two for filming and editing!
